Jane Fraser MA, Dip. Ac., MBAcC
Before becoming an acupuncturist I worked for MIND, the Association for Mental Health both as a volunteer in the community and professionally at their headquarters. I became increasingly interested in acquiring the skills and the tools to help people to overcome their health problems. I was drawn to Chinese medicine because it recognises the subtle connection between mind, body and all aspects of a person’s life.
I studied for three years at the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. My studies included the theory of Chinese medicine and the practice of acupuncture as well as a thorough grounding in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacology.
I graduated in 1990 and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. The BAcC ensures that its members have achieved a high level of training and sets standards for practice and ongoing professional development.
During my years of practice I have followed a programme of post-graduate studies, completing courses in specialist areas of treatment. I am also a member of a regional practitioner group which offers peer support and education.
I am committed to my work and I offer you a calm, supportive and caring environment in which we can discuss your health concerns. I want you to feel safe and relaxed and confident that I am giving you the best possible treatment tailored to your specific needs.
